RELEASE OF ANTONIO VERDUGO BALLESTER:
Never wanted to imagine that this farewell would arrive, but it is time to close a cycle, separate our paths and take different paths in order to focus my artistic and professional work in the Cap i Casal.
After sixteen years together, it's time of beginning a new era away from the Falla of the Marina of Puerto de Sagunto, where a piece of my heart, many memories and endless thanks stays.
A Committee where I arrived in 2001 as a young novice and received me with open arms to make me feel from the first moment at my own home. Many joys, many experiences together since then, many awards Falla, wit and grace, best paint, but without a doubt, the best reward has been to have enjoyed with you all this time.
I want to thank to all and each of the members of La Marina, in particular to the Presidents who were renewing their confidence in my workshop every year: Toni Coca, José Blasco, Luis Sáez, Rubén Lucas, Toni Cebrián, Juanjo Monge and of course my friend from childhood, Alberto Cebrián Hernández.
I can't forget my "hermana" Eva Cayuela, that has always been there to celebrate my successes and support me in the difficult times which all fallero artist passes along an exercise, note your mood and joy were the best medicine to move forward with strength and energy. My niece María Villar, your smile illuminates my soul whenever I see you, do not ever change.
To my dear José Ignacio Marín Heredia, thank you for so many moments together.
I will never forget the title of the Cultural week which me once and that has become the motto of my life: "Antonio Verdugo, Falla artist profession and sailor heart".
Thanks to all Mariners for giving me so much.
It is not a farewell, it is a see you soon.
